There are no waiting times for accident cases. For illnesses, the waiting period is three months. For surgical procedures, the waiting period is six months. For maternity, the waiting period is nine months. For pre-existing conditions, the waiting period is 12 months.
The insured is required to report claims to Coverzen along with all supporting paperwork. After receiving the paperwork, Coverzen will validate all claim details, payments, and the claim amount. To finish the process, Coverzen will directly pay the claim to the client.
Clients have to submit the affidavit/medical report, the completed claim form, and all hospital admission and discharge forms. The hospital admission and discharge forms have to bear the official stamp of the hospital, and the dates and times of admission and discharge should be indicated as well.
From the time of receiving all the necessary paperwork, you can take up to 72 hours to finalize your decision.
Illegal acts, hospitalization following cosmetic surgery, war and active service, congenital anomalies, dangerous activities, deliberate exposure to danger, and attempted suicide are excluded from Coverzen’s Medical Cash Plan.
