If you’d prefer a funeral service instead of cash as the benefit of Coverzen’s Funeral Cash Plan, you can choose a funeral service provider from a list provided by Coverzen.
Flexible age restrictions
Primary members of Coverzen’s Funeral Cash Plan have to be at least 18 years old. Individuals up to 75 years old are eligible for this plan. Individuals under the age of 23 and over the age of 65 are eligible to qualify as dependents.

If a Coverzen client opts for a funeral service instead of cash, the funeral service provider chosen by the client will receive the benefits from Coverzen.
Waiting periods differ based on the type of death. For instance, traffic accident fatalities don’t have any waiting period. However, in the event of natural death, adult, senior citizen, and non-biological offspring dependents have to wait for six months. Groups of at least 20 people or burial societies don’t have waiting periods.
Burial order or notice of death, valid national certificate, birth certificate (for children), doctor’s medical post mortem report along with hospital stamp, and death certificate are the documents needed for receiving the benefits.
Enrolling in Coverzen’s Funeral Cash Plan is simple. Just fill out the application form and send it to us with a copy of your ID.
You can fill out the amendment form and send it to Coverzen if you want to make changes to your application.
Following the approval of your application, Coverzen will send you a text message containing the membership number.
